about LMC-TV

LMC-TV is the public access TV station serving the Village of Larchmont, the Village of Mamaroneck and the Town of Mamaroneck on Cablevision Channels 75, 76 and 77 and Verizon Channels 34, 35 and 36. It is a non-profit membership organization open to all people who live, work or go to school in the community Channels 75 and 36 is generally for locally produced shows like LMC News. Channels 76 and 35 is generally for municipal and school district meetings, which we broadcast live. LMC-TV shoots 8-10 meetings a month. Channels 77and 34 programs imported shows of interest to the community. LMC-TV members may request a show to broadcast by using Request TV - LMC-TV's request service. Copies of shows are also available to the community by using LMC-TV's Dubbing Service.

LMC-TV aims to heighten community awareness and increase community participation through the making and viewing of local television, and to encourage programming reflecting the concerns, interests and activities of our community. Its mission is threefold: 1) Public Access 2) Government Access 3) Education Access

LMC-TV provides free facilities and equipment to community members for the creation of non-commercial programs that air on LMC-TV. Classes are also offered to train community members in television production
